Ingredients

  • 1 Bag Gardein Ground Be'f
  • 1 Box Pillsbury Puff Pastry
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tbsp Epis Homemade green seasoning
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp salt

Equipment

  • Nonstick baking sheet
  • Brush

Method

  1. Cook Gardein Ground Be'f per package instructions
  2. Season to taste with spices. Be sure to taste be'f as you cook!
  3. Cut your puff pastry into individual pieces. You can cut rectangular pieces or triangular. I usually cut triangular pieces as it fits better into my cake stand.
  4. Fill the middle of the pastry and fold over.
  5. Pinch edges of each patty.
  6. Take one egg, add water and mix.
  7. Brush each patty with egg mixture.
  8. Grease nonstick pan and place patties.
  9. Bake at 325 for 25 minutes on the top rack.
  10. Remove the patties from the oven and let cool on a wire rack.
  11. ENJOY!!

Notes

Since the Gardein is meat made from plants - you have to be a little bit more aggressive in seasoning.  Always taste as you go!
