Easy Lobster Tail Recipe
I FINALLY got it right!
My name is Blissfully Single Bean. I now finally know how to prepare and cook a delicious and succulent lobster tail.
I’ve had so many lobster failures, that I really started to think that perhaps, lobster just wasn’t my thing. This couldn’t be father from the truth.
Now, I’m a Pescatarian. So I enjoy all types of seafood. My problem is, I just don’t know. I didn’t know the right way to prep the lobster tail. As a result, my lobster tail never tasted good.
Delicious Lobster Tail: It’s All in the Preparation

So, here is where I got it wrong: the prep work. The secret in how to cook lobster tail lay there. I wasn’t preparing the lobster tail in a way that exposed the delectable meat. I did not butterfly the lobster tail correctly.
When butterflying lobster tail, not only do you cut the tail, but you also need to open up the shell and pull the meat out. Sufficed to say, I wasn’t doing that before.
Methods of Cooking Lobster Tail
There are a number of ways to cook lobster tail. The method chosen to prepare it is really up to you.
Boil
For me, I know that I’m not going to boil my lobster tail. Boiling isn’t my favorite way of cooking lobster because it dilutes the flavor.
Grill
As much as I love to throw my seafood on a grill, I was hesitant about grilling my lobster tail. I want to make sure I really knew what I was doing before choosing to grill lobster. That being said, grilling lobster tail will net you a smokey, charred flavor.
Broil
I decide to broil my lobster tail. Not only is this the easiest cooking method, but the way the lobster shell browns makes this a more flavorful way of cooking.

My broiled lobster tail came out AMAZING!
I did have my lobster tail with E’s Special Sauce Seafood Butter. Quick review. I’d like to keep things positive, but at the same time, I owe it to my readers to be transparent.
In light of this: I don’t like E’s seafood sauce. My main gripe with the sauce is that it tastes like something I could have made at home.
In fact, I make butter sauce quite often and my version is more flavorful than E’s sauce. Plus, the price tag – a jar of the sauce costs $23 and it’s finished all in one sitting. Way too expensive.

On the other hand, Blove’s Life Seafood sauce costs around the same, except, Blove’s sauce is powdered. So when you prepare the bag, it makes TONS of sauce. You get a lot more for your money with Blove’s Life seafood sauce.
All in all, I found a winner with this lobster tail broiled recipe! Your girl finally knows how to cook a delicious lobster tail. I’m going to love enjoying lobster all summer long.
Happy eating my friends!
