Ready to Love is still in those beginning stages of the season. This is the time where we’re getting to know the couples and understanding the singles who are gravitating; connecting with one another.

This recent episode is a women’s elimination week. The ladies get to decide which one of the gentlemen are not quite ready to continue on with this journey of love. You know, I tend to find that when it’s a Ready to Love men’s elimination week, the women approach this task with such vigor, it really is entertaining to see. In addition to one of the men going home, the host, Tommy, challenges the women to dig a little bit deeper in getting to know their romantic interests.

Joel and Verneishia

Joel and Verneisha date this episode. I understand what attracts them to one another. Still, I can’t help but feeling that Verneisha needs to continue to keep her options open as she plays this game. Joel is one of the highly sought after men on this show, and she may find herself in a space where she didn’t give enough of the other men a chance.

David and Stacey

Alexis Fly Jones and Troy

Alexis Fly Jones and Troy date. Nothing memorable here. Alexis spends the entire time scolding Troy. Apparently, Troy is out here kissing other ladies and telling them the very same things he’s said to her.
