Cranberry Vanilla Martini Recipe

Colorful Christmas Cocktails

As the holiday season approaches, I just love experimenting with recipes for cocktails. Especially during this time of year, recipes of cocktails with vodka tend to be my favorite.

Christmas itself, with the beautiful red, white and green palette makes experimenting with different drinks fun, mainly because of the bright colors that you can infuse right into a martini glass. I call these types of drinks my colorful Christmas cocktails.

Just look at these festive drinks below – how cute are they?

Cranberry Vanilla Martini

The Cranberry Vanilla Martini is a cocktail with fruit notes of raspberry. The raspberry notes come from for Chambord, a raspberry flavored liqueur. Chambord’s deep, burgundy color just screams Christmas. By the way, the Chambord bottle is just lovely. I’m planning to get another bottle to decorate my rolling bar.

Vanilla flavored vodka adds a woody, complex flavor to this drink that balances out the sweetness of the raspberry.

The Cranberry Vanilla Martini really does give the sweetness of the Christmas season in a martini glass in terms of both taste and aesthetic. This isn’t your “strongest” cocktail – you won’t grow chest hairs drinking, but it certainly is a fun Christmas cocktail to enjoy.
