Netflix Holiday Movie Watchlist
One of my favorite things to do during the holiday season? Curling up under the comforter with a full cup of spiked eggnog and watch holiday movies, of course!
There’s just something about a holiday movie. I’m not sure if it’s the time of year, but watching these movies seem to heighten feelings of warmth and love. At least it does for me.
In fact, the best holiday movies make a blissfully single girl like me want to be in love. You know, that corny, super happy Lifetime movie type of love, LOL.
Holiday movies on Netflix are my go to for the season. Having been a Netflix subscriber going back several years to where I was watching Gossip Girl on Netflix’s DVD plan, my love for the streaming giant runs deep. Netflix will have no shortage of holiday movies to keep we the viewers, delighted all season.

“Holidate”
Holidate went to the top of my Netflix holiday movie list as soon as I see Emma Roberts and Kristin Chenoweth. I just adore these two actresses! This super cute movie is based on having a “Holidate.” A Holidate is a date only for the holidays. So there’s no pressure. No romance and of course no chance of a Holidate leading to love. But looking at gorgeous Emma Roberts and her equally as gorgeous Holidate played by Luke Bracey, we all know the hilarious sheningans of the Holidate will lead to so much more. Holidate is now streaming on Netflix.
While you’re watching, why not spoil yourself with Topsy’s gallon tub of delicious cheese popcorn?
“Holiday Rush”
This adorable comedy is about a widowed single dad who loses his high profile radio DJ job during the holidays. Now, he’s forced to downsize. During the process of tightening his belt, he finds redemption, a new opportunity and love along the way. This movie had me at single dad, I truly love a single dad story.
Grab yourself a pack of Fudge Stripe cookies from The Snack Bar and enjoy delicious treats as you watch this heartwarming film.
“Operation Christmas Drop”
Kat Graham (Vampire Diaries) plays an icy political aide whose job is to research and look to shut down an Air Force base along with its holiday tradition: “Operation Christmas Drop.” That cold heart of hers thaws out up after she falls for a big hearted Air Force pilot.
A heart felt movie like this calls for munching on a sweet Chocolate Caramel and Crunch Grand Gift Basket like this one here …..
“Christmas Catch”
A handsome detective is on the chase for a jewelry thief. Problem? All clues lead to a woman he’s attracted to. Cute movie to enjoy on a low key, cozy date night.
“How the Grinch Stole Christmas”
Everyone can appreciate a good Grinch movie. The age old story of the The Grinch speaks to the walls some of us tend to form during the holiday season. Redemption always closes this tale. This movie isn’t a new one in Netflix’s line up, but Jim Carrey’s compelling portrayal of the Grinch makes it seem like the movie was recently brought to life.
