Easy Tequila Drink Recipe
The weather is finally warming up around here and now, it’s time to put the cognac away… it’s Tequila time!
That’s right, nothing is more refreshing during the dog days of summer than a having crisp glass of a tequila cocktail.
This summer, I am going to have good ole time creating different tequila mixers. I’ll have an even better time enjoying them in my backyard, under the sun.
Tequila is made from the agave plant and has an alcohol content of 40 – 50%.
This liquor packs a punch, so while I’m not a tequila shots type of girl, I am definitely a tequila cocktail chick.
This Mother’s Day weekend, I spent it sipping on my own, simple tequila drink.

I created my own mix with lime juice, sugar and a couple of drops of pure vanilla extract. I know, the extract may sound strange. Give it a chance! The vanilla extract adds another layer of sweetness to the tequila cocktail.
If you’re blessed with warmer weather, take the time to enjoy this simple tequila drink.
