10+ Easy Boozy Halloween Cocktails – Ultimate Halloween Drinks!
*Updated October 28, 2022*
This Halloween, the 18-year-old moved out and the 14-year-old is dressing up only to get cash in on the $6 burrito bowl from Chipotle.
I’m telling you, with the boys getting older, the landscape of Halloween changes for a parent. You see the passage of time through the eyes of their growing ambivalence towards the holidays.
I was having a conversation with my manager recently. She, a mom of two teenage boys as well. In a moment of vulnerability, she confided in me that Halloween isn’t as fun anymore because the kids aren’t into it. They don’t understand why she still decorates or why the house is always running that cheesy Halloween playlist.
My heart sank, thinking about my estranged oldest son and thought:
“I get it. I’m there and I’m sad this Halloween too…” This is my first holiday without my son – how do I keep the fun spirit of Halloween alive?
Sufficed to say. In the spirit of salvaging one of my favorite holidays in the face of sadness, this is certainly going to be a boozy Halloween for me.
Aside from a quick run to Chipotle, I’ll be at home eating my Halloween appetizers, giving out candy and most importantly, drinking my Halloween cocktails.
Whether you’re in the mood for champagne, vodka, cognac or gin, I’ve got you covered and have rounded up the the best Halloween cocktails for you to try and indulge in for the spooky and fun filled day.
